Round flight at the breathtaking Achensee. As with the thermal flight, we use the thermals here to climb high into the sky. There is plenty of time to enjoy the mountain world at Lake Achensee. Enjoy lonely paths in nature with a mountain guide and then take off from the mountain top and glide down into the valley - UNIQUE!
A certain basic level of fitness is required (you should be able to cover 1000 metres of altitude in 2.5 hours).

Answers to frequently asked questions.

Clothing

Sturdy footwear, long trousers and a windproof jacket are required. Gloves as necessary (only in winter). You don't need anything else. Glasses, sunglasses/contact lenses are no problem at all when paragliding.

Weather conditions

We fly all year including winter. We follow the operating times of the mountain cable car (Rofanseilbahn AG). We prefer brilliant sunshine of course. But because this is an outdoor sport, we are dependent on wind and weather. Therefore, it may be that a flight is cancelled at short notice. However, we will endeavour to make your adventure possible on another day. We do not take any risks and always try to ensure gentle starts and landings.

Costs

The cost of the cable car is in addition to your booked flight. This is approx. €18 per person.

Who is allowed to fly?

Legally there is no minimum age for passengers. Our youngest passengers were 6 and our oldest one aged 91. The important thing: children and young people under the age of 18 require the written consent of both parents/legal guardians.
If you are an older person, it is important that you are able to make a few quick steps on downward sloping terrain. Apart from this, nothing should stand in your way. However, the wind situation (lack of wind or good starting wind) and general constitution (weight and size) also play a part.
Our pilots are responsible for you and, based on their experience, will decide whether a flight is possible or not.
